MRJBF: A Commitment to Research: For 20 years, the Medical Research Junior Board Foundation (MRJBF), a group of 60 Chicago area professionals in their 20s and 30s, has dedicated its efforts to improving the health of children by supporting pediatric research at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Through its various fundraising efforts, which include such high-profile events as the annual Cocktails for a Cause, the board has raised more than $1 million to support research at the hospital and its research center. Thank you for your support for the MRJBF’s Spring Event! Between the at MRJBF’s FUN BEFORE THE RUN which occurred on Wednesday, May 9th and for those who came out in the rain for the “Move for the Kids 5K” which occurred on Saturday, May 12th the MRJBF was able to start off our fundraising year by raising over $30,000.
